In what has been described as possibly the best World Cup of all time, Trek's Aaron Gwin stormed into a five second lead on a run that blew the rest of the field out of the water before the man himself over cooked it, blowing himself off the track. It came down to Santa Cruz Syndicate's Greg Minnaar to maintain his strong record on the Scottish hillside, taking the top spot.
