FIS Freestyle Ski World Cup 2011: Half Pipe

Under a clear blue sky as the final of the last stage of World Cup freestyle ski half pipe takes place this Sunday, March 20. Following the qualification of yesterday, 10 men and 10 women took the start. The French are present in each of the podiums, Benoit Valentin on the 2nd step and Anaïs Caradeux on the 3rd. It was Torin Yater-Wallace, American wunderkind 15 years, silver medalist at the X Games in Aspen and bronze medalist in Tignes, who surprised everyone by standing on the podium the first men.
Following the final of the last stage which took place this morning to the Half Pipe Bellecote Plagne, 7 women and 13 men took the start tonight. Under the lights of the pipe, it is the Plagnard Benoit Valentin and Canadian Sarah Burke leads the overall standings, which have captured the crystal globe.
A great show at the high level has delighted young and old come along and support especially the 2 Plagnard, but also the French and all the riders and riders.
