Down-the-line at Big Verns in Jersey

On Sunday, 5th February 2012, whilst most in the UK were battling the snow and freezing rain, the Jersey Crew was blessed with sunny cross-off conditions. Wind was from the NNE and blowing between 20 to 25 knots, with some 30+ gusts. Most were holding 5.3's on bigger wave boards. A small, but very clean swell was rolling in with 3 to 4ft faces, with the occasional shoulder / head high set rolling through as the tide pushed in.
