Hungary and Slovenia have a lot to offer - especially for Wakeboarders

Hungary’s hidden treasures have been explored on a special wakeboard hike, as prominent figures of the Hungarian wakeboard community traveled around the country for a week to explore its most beautiful waterways.

The Red Bull WakeXplorers Kinga Horváth, European and 13-time Hungarian Champion, along with the two-time Junior World Champion Szebasztián Szóláth accompanied by friends Bazsi Bakró, Bence Bodnár, Benedek Kis, Mátyás Szerb, Máté Tokay and Norbi Vaskó, embarked on a week-long hike to explore and conquer Hungary’s hidden treasures – on their wakeboards of course!
During the hike the group visited the Rudabánya Mine Lake, the Megyer Hill Tarn as well as a ship breaker's yard. In contrast with constructed, traditional wakeboard courses, this time around the Hungarian wakeboard elite, who had no advance knowledge of the locations, manoeuvred between shipwrecks, tested themselves at the foot of steep cliffs left behind from open mining and visited the country’s most beautiful natural sites.
