Epic Days in the Basque Country

This is a video from an epic ride. We start with a tough climb up to 1000m and follow a series of mountain ridges between 950m and 1150m. The final descent is 10km of singletrack all the way back to a bar. We always get a warm welcome in the bar as the locals can never believe we are stupid enough to take our bikes over the mountains which tower over the village. This is the route that we will use for Ed Oxley's skills weeks, which we are running through July. We will no doubt use this route through the year as well. We will be using a big uplift to 750m to take the sting out of the epicness slightly.

This video was shot in early February, just after the 'big European freeze' and the snow was still quite deep in places. It has all gone now.
