Remember this story? ............For my 17year old son, who is going off to college after the summer holidays and leaving the nest. Am I happy or am I sad? Sometimes a bit of both! It'l be one way of his keeping in touch without building too much credit on his phone, money he will little afford I am sure when most of it will go on beer and pasta!. Hopefully, he will 'communicate' with his mum via e-mail or facebook (er no, not facebook as he absolutely refuses to add me as a friend- I wonder why?) or skype. So the macbook would be a means of helping a mum keep tabs on her baby boy when he goes off into the big bad world and experiences college life. (It might even help him with his studies.......... now that's a thought!)........well I told my son and he is crossing all his fingers and toes and he PROMISES to use the mac to skype his mum.... now who can stand in the way of that?!!

Hi all no computer today as it has gone kaput wont even turn on. just been lent a laptop and I am finding it very slow going I'm afraid so doubt I'll manage many comps. Fingers crossed the guy coming tomorrow can fix mine

I would like a Macbook Pro so i could do some sound editing and song writing, Go out and record some videos, edit them, Do some pic editing, surf the web, more editing, More music stuff, show it off, Yet more editing, Take it to a gig, run a sequence without software crashing whilst recording the set, Go home, Do yet more editing, More music stuff, Finalise gig recording and then to finish the day settle down with a cup of hot choco and watch a film on the superb screen.
That my friends is why i want a macbook XD

hey oliverd , can you define more precisely what do you mean by "strong fishing line" ? and how do you use it ??
a couple of good tripod: if you can describe one or two of them , including weight and carrying weight ..
The sanyo xaxti HD is the japanese all in one camera? how is the quality of the frames ? do you have something filmed with that ? I'm planning to buy a gopro to use like a point of view camera, and of course for the supposed durability of that !
