Quiksilver’s annual bowl jam has been held in a variety of locations over it’s ten year run. With previous locales ranging from Sweden to South Africa, it’s anyone’s guess as to which concrete curvature will be host to the event this year.
With a series of global qualifying events taking place each year, seasoned bowl veterans to clash with up and coming wildcards, this one always goes off.
Although there’s a cash prize for this event, as well as awards for highest air, the bowlriders contests are more about reputation than money. Win one of these, and you’re a certified bowl- dominator, sitting alongside big guns such as Rune Glifberg and Omar Hassan.
